As a pioneering DJ, producer, remixer and songwriter originally hailing from the East Coast, Armand van Helden is considered one of house music's most revered living legends, with a career spanning three decades. Van Helden often remixes and employs samples of funk, soul, R&B and hip hop to get the party going full steam.
Renowned for his excellent knowledge and holistic approach to music, as well as his technical wizardry behind the turntables and legendary status as Motor City Drum Ensemble (MCDE), Danilo Plessow’s is constantly redefining himself and his music with a relentless curiosity for breaching into new genres and exploration of new sounds.

Bash godmother Abby Normal has graced the Bash's dancefloor with her all-vinyl, all-genre, all-time turntable sets since the beginning. A crate-trained maven that won't hesitate to drop a steamer on ya, Abby's one-of-a-kind style blurs the lines between funk, disco, hip hop and rock, improvising around one simple premise: play what feels groovy. Heed Abby's steeze and be forever funkified.
With more than 30 Bashes under their belts combined, this dynamic disco duo was literally born to Bash. Composed of two Bashers who’ve been with us since the beginning, this power-posse holds a wizardly knack for digging up deep disco cuts. Look out for He2She as candidate for the ‘Bashiest Set On The Beach’ award.
A sample-soaked Bay Area native with hip hop in his DNA, he cut his teeth rhyming over his dad’s sax before bassy disco funk flipped the switch and pulled him behind the decks. A towering Bash regular turned dance-floor assassin, his mythic set at the SF Bash hotel room afterparty still gets whispered about like it never really ended.
Long time die-hard bashers and local indie band favorite, Porcelain has created a brand new, funk-forward set to debut at this year’s Bash. They know how to bring the party and their energy is infectuous, so make sure to get their early to witness history in the making.
Consistently delivering flavorful and emotion evoking sets, Feelaxx includes a wide range of dance music including disco and electronic music encompassing many house genres. With feelaxx behind the decks there is a sense of unity and timelessness in the space, with the groove bringing out everyone’s best.
Sand, sailboats and a psychedelic sunset. Other than that, expect the same beautiful Bash as usual. Studio 54-style disco? Yup. Free-for-all roller rink? Double yup.
